30 Days of Thankfulness - Day 5

Day 5

I am thankful for family traditions.  We have many traditions on my side of the family.  We have traditions for what we have at our holiday meals, for what type of stockings we have, for what is in the stockings, and how we open presents on Christmas day.  After we married Mr. Daddy and I have continued some family traditions from each side as well as creating some of our own.
One of the traditions we continue is a "Thanks" Jar.  We have done it many different ways but the basic idea is we have a jar that we put slips of paper with things we are thankful for written on them.  We usually start it November 1st and go through Thanksgiving.  Every night we write something we are thankful for on a piece of paper, we try not to repeat anything.  On Thanksgiving we pour out all the slips of paper and read all the things our family is thankful for.  What are you thankful for today?
Until next time,
